Committee & Working Group Report-Backs
24/7 Working Group, Mike - Down to only two full timers left the past few nights. Police came by a confiscated a bunch of property, which sucks. But we're still getting food donations, which is excellent. During the Monsanto event in Davis, there were a couple nights with no presence for the first time since occupying the lawn...felt worth it given the successful (temporary) shut down of the Monsanto location. Though, one occupier got food poisoning (possibly from donated food). And friendly reminder, some nights are putting our people close to hypothermia.
Direct Action Working Group, Morgan - We had a test tent action today at the edge of Cesar Chavez Park today across the street from our city hall lawn occupation. We had two tents setup, next to our info table, for two hours before a police officer told us we had to take down the tents or else we would be cited and have to appear in court. Video coming online soon.
Announcements
Dee - There is an earth day event on April 12 in Cesar Chavez park. We want to be involved. At least one city council is doing something right, in Sanford county in Florida has voted no confidence in their police chief. The guy who wrote the terrible law allowing this murder has now come out against it. In response with solidarity, Million Hoodie March in New York City has been organized and seems effective.
24/7 Working Group - We need more flyers for
Laurie - During our April 7 action, there will be a teach-in on the people's budget and more at 2:30.

Occu-Farm, Morgan - Sheriff department cancelled eviction this Sunday and we're feeling good. Check out SaveFullCircleFarm.org for updates. Seeds are sprouting and ready for transplanting. Faygo brings up depletion of full-timers and objects to the use of Occupy [human] resources at the farm instead of getting the word out on the street.
