-Attendees: Tiffany (facilitator), Darcey (stack), Sea (note taker), Michelle, Fago, Shanti, BCarter, Tricia, Amy, Dennis, Kim, Matt, Wayne, Eddie, LJ, Mario, and others.
Facilitation.
- Hand signals. Committees are working groups that have been vetted more and adopt bylaws. Facebook page has been hacked. Facilitation or NVC training each Wed after GA.
Full-Timers.
-Fago. Security need. OccuCarts lock broken but nothing taken? ... maybe something put inside? BCarter helping. Full-Timers include Kay, Eddie, Danny, Joe, John, Wayne (new) and he was arrested while sleeping in his sleeping bag. Fago stayed on lawn during rain. Need one person always and want more help. Need kitchen.
-Eddie. Large police force took couch while 12 people and Autumn were there. Sacmedia.tv did live stream. This is "independent" media with CK, April, Ricky. Camera needs memory stick. Officer Valdez showed them camping laws that pertain.
Foreclosures.
-Michelle. OCS Foreclosure Action Team (not "working group") to get Atty General to intervene on Feb 9 2:30 and do Foreclosure Zone.
Resolutions.
-Darcy read resolutions and bylaws and it was approved 11-0. Much discussion and SafeGround person said be careful when you "empower" committees. GA thinks this isn't a problem. Resolutions committee is Karen, David Kane, Darcy, with SeanL (inactive), and Matt Olliver? invited.
-Sea asked what actual vetted committees we have. Tiffany said Education, Media, NVC and now Resolutions.
Announcements.
-Fago. Park supervisors staff mtng said they'll beautify park but not help homeless. Facebook doesn't say what is happening on the ground.
-Kim. Matt Worthington? speaks for our issues at City Council. If anyone is on legal team they should see Kim. Ryan will sell Tshirts on Sat. Randy of Cit. United donates food and is pushing legislative Bill. Univ Hlth Care bill is CA SB810?
-Autumn. Media, twitter, facebook, live stream.
-Mario Galván is running for Congress in the 7th District.
-LJ. Forum has discussion to help Full-Timers with, laundry, police, tents, take-homes and equipment.
