Occupy Sacramento Jan 4 2012 G.A. started 6:00pm.
Attendees: Tiffany (facilitator), Elizabeth (stack), Marcius and Sea (note takers), Kay, Joshua, Amy and son, Cat, Tracy, Alonzo, Michelle, Fago, Kirk, April, Juliana, Miguel, Autumn, Laura, Brother Carter, SeanT, C. J., Joshua, Joe, Danny, Les, Jen, Benny, Little John, and eleven other people.
Hand signals, committees, 2/3 vote if no consensus, 3 day wait to vote on proposals.

Food-Logistics-Money, Civil Authorities, Homeless, and City Hall sitters.
-Food served by Fago and Cat and Tracy. Tracy from Safe Ground said homeless are learning to be part of us. We have food and equipment base 3 blocks away though cart and equipment was stolen. Fago (Urban Logistics) said new cart will have a folding kitchen. Kirk said a bicycle with rear wheel powered dynamo generator would be demonstrated by Nathan on Sat. OcSac people have already spent thousands of their own money. Autumn wants a Fund Raising group to raise money to pay for these things. The new cart-bicycle-generator can be used to raise funds.
-Police did horrific raid on campers on Bike Trail. Two OcSac members vigiled before the raid. This was good support. Police are preparing for civil unrest. They came with riot gear, pepper spray.
-Homeless person said thanks to OcSac. They want to be seen for who they are, and don't want to be "led". Tiffany said we're here so homeless and everyone can help themselves.
-City hall lawn is cold you must bring chair. No tents or tarps. Sleeping bags must be unzipped and opened like a blanket over you while you sit.

Outreach.
-Kirk and Sean are doing youth outreach and there's a site called tinychat.com where you can organize and talk things. Autumn wants to hold meeting.
-Laura said this Fri protest/99% rally at Dan Lungren's office 2339 Gold Meadow Way #220 Gold River 95670 on Jan 6th at 4pm. Her flyer said "Stop the Police State" and "Protect Social Security". See Forum for info.
-Amy with UOC said the meeting is on Thu 6pm SEIU office 1325 S, only open to reps of community groups. Youth outreach meeting on Sat.
-Kathy said Foreclosure Working group meets in park at 12 on Thu and then carpools to Oak Park to occupy foreclosed homes.
-Brother Carter said UOC is to emancipate, and to lean and move. Talk to Kathleen at 6 at 1325 S on Fri. He hearkens back to 1967 Poor People's Movement history. Mon Jan 9 at 7pm Church at 5401 Freeport Blvd civil rights and Palestinian activists Omar Barghouti, Gerald Lenoir, Rev Phil Lawson.
-Autumn will try to post this info on Forum. She said Media needs people and resources. She and Bill are only ones on website. Little John said website is outdated.
-Amy Fri at 4 at Lundgren's office. See above and on Forum. Universal Health Care rally Jan 9th at 3rd and M (Capitol Mall) 11am. MLK "I Have a Dream" rally Jan 16th.
