OcSac and the wider Occupy movement can help influence US-Iran relations if it forms an international political party keyed to the United Nations, and if it learns what the Green Party did right and did wrong. People at the GA have confused what a politcal party or a non-profit can or can't do. There's more than one kind of non-profit and PACs have also been mentioned.

Peace Action is one of our best allies and is part of our original solid Urban Outreach committee which Brother Carter and Bakari work on at the SEIU hall. It was dissed when David Keane and Karen formed another divisive "outreach" committee. Prior to them forming the divisive group, the coordinating working group stood in the way of the two day conference that Urban Outreach was planning when Laura (merelyfearless) posted the topic Strategy Building: Urban Outreach.

Anonymous posters on this BB, like anon201025, make threats against us. This is a very serious business. People need to stop doing what Nicky said they are doing, which is that they refuse to work with other people if the other people aren't doing things "just the way they would do it."

Anarchist and Black Box actions like anon201025 wants, are a deadly threat. We can't meet this threat if people like Darcey think in terms of whether the name of a committee is "way cool" or not. Darcey has stepped in to some important places, and he may not help us. He may hurt us.

We can make the police our friends. But not if we allow anyone to do anything they feel at the moment. Occupy can mature. Let's make it happen.
