The Founders in their infinite wisdom did provide a tool in the Constitution for a time such as ours when the federal government would no longer be responsive to the needs and desires of the states and populace. That tool is an Article V Constitutional Convention. The states do in fact have the power to reform things IF they choose to exercise that power which they should in my view. I would also suggest on focusing getting members elected to the state legislature who are open to the idea of a Convention. It's probably the only thing that can save this nation at this point.
