I know it might sound crazy, however the Republican Party is the birthplace of The Progressive movement. Yes, it is true that the party has been hijacked by the Far right wing Christian Conservatives. But with the current level of stupid things going on in the republican party I think it would be great to have a significant number of Occupy sympathizers the party might be able make an impact within the walls of the republican establishment.
